It have been a while since I have posted but I have gotten in a few games (lost almost all of them, but learned quite a bit). Also, I dug up my old Khador and Everblight models and added a couple of things to each of them.
An interesting thing that I am noticing is that for no good reason I am feeling a bit of frustration. I honestly think it is because of residual feelings from when I quit before (way back in the middle days of mark 1 when things were starting to spiral out of control). I thought that maybe adding a new warcaster and couple of units might help combat it, but it is pretty well logged in my head. However, I am absolutely loving the game in spite of it.
So, what am I going to do about it? Well, I am selling off quite a bit of 40k/Fantasy models. Enough for a whole new army and a whole new start. I have decided to do one of the Minions forces. The Farrow to be exact. I absolutely love what fluff I have read and the look of the models. Besides, there is a mad scientist there so that is fully awesome.
It is a whole new start with a whole new army that didn’t even exist when I was playing before. You can’t get much more clean slate that that. The models should arrive sometime next week and I am doing a really really slow grow league with a friend or two where we are starting at 15 points and then just switching casters with the same models to really make sure we get things down. Then we will probably just be adding a unit or a beast or a jack every few weeks. I’ll definitely post them up when I get them going.
I am very excited -you might even say I am in hog heaven. Yeah, you saw that coming, but that is an appeal of the Farrow – shameless and horrible puns
And just to give you an idea of the awesomeness that is coming…
