Here are the rest of that first unit of whelps.  I am thinking with the upcoming Mountain King release I will want (at least) 10 of them.

In more current painting news – I took an intentional break from painting the trolls in order to build and paint up a carnival tent for the Longest Night event being run at Emerald Knights.  The time was well spent, I have an awesome looking ghetto gypsy tent – which is added here because, why not.  This week I think I will be assembling something that isn’t out yet that my ninja shopper was kind enough to bring back from Lock and Load (but is not a mountain king).

This was a busy week so I kind of copped out just to make sure I got a model done and painted up a whelp. I use them in most lists anyway.

Besides, those trollkin whelps always look like they are having a whole lot of fun for guys about to be eaten like popcorn.

Although it wasn’t my intent I realized at this point that I just needed to paint up one more model to have the battlebox done so I figured may as well.

Then I took a picture of the battlebox.

Madrak, 2 Impalers and an axer.

The astute will notice I didn’t post a new model last week – I spent it building a ton of new models rather than painting and  I am okay with that – I was able to get some hobbying done and will paint up a couple of models in the next week or so but I am super glad to have finally gotten some champions and another fell caller built for my madrak brick list.

I have got to go to Lock and Load next year.  As it was I was madly refreshing twitter and facebook for updates all weekend.  Looks like a great time was had by all!

I don’t remember whether I mentioned it or not, but I am not going to be updating on weekends.

With all the Lock and Load excitement I almost forgot to put up #3!

I am just going to be dumping various troll centric lock and load stuff I find here.  I’d recommend hitting lost hemisphere for more comprehensive coverage.
